E & C Cheshire PCT
A drop-in session was hosted by Central and Eastern Cheshire PCT at Universal House in Middlewich on Dignity Action Day. Visitors were able to browse displays from Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, East Cheshire NHS Trust, Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Trust, Cheshire East Community Health, Cheshire East Council, Age Concern Cheshire and the PCT.
It was an occasion to network and chat to health and social care staff, who were promoting Dignity and Respect within their own organisations whilst taking the opportunity of looking at how the PCT works towards the Dignity and Respect agenda.
The event was extremely well attended by a range of clinicians, local authority staff and voluntary agencies.
Mike Pyrah, Chief Executive at the PCT said:
“Ensuring our population receives the care that is given with Dignity and Respect is a key priority for this organisation. Dignity Action Day provided us with a real opportunity to share the excellent improvements being made by our service providers as well as our plans to further develop this important aspect of quality of care to patients”.
