Cupcakes and Dignity discussion

At Thames Hospice we celebrated Dignity Action day with our patients in the Day Therapy Unit.

During the craft activity sessions patients made heart shaped ornaments while talking about dignity and, what it meant to them both as patients and as people. This encouraged discussion around the "Person behind the patient". There was laughter and story telling while eating lovely cupcakes.

The day was a great success with many more nurses signing up to be Dignity Champions!
