Pizza Party & Writing home

A little Pizza Party fun today, for some the first time they had eaten pizza and a little distraction from the isolation. Carers and staff all joined in at lunch time.

It's pretty tough when you can't see your loved ones, 'specially when things are so confusing and hard to understand.

With some careful guidance each resident was asked to choose who they would like to say hello to. If names were not included family members are asked not to feel left out it was difficult enough to make choices and finding the right words to say, so this is something we might do again.

A helping hand was given with the felt tip pen, but words were pretty much individual. Please remember little notes and cards at a time like this will be gratefully received. Just pop them through the door and we will deliver them for you. (p.s. one or two not featured today - snooze time).
