A Memory Tree

At Broadwaters, a reablement Care Home, they planted a tree and residents were asked to write down what 'dignity' meant to them. These reflections were then rain-proofed and then attached to a branch on the tree. Off-duty staff came in to join the party atmosphere. I talked to lots of residents and they all said that they were very pleased that this special day was celebrated in this way.
