Come Snack with me!!!!

oooo what a great dignity event - something new for me judging a 'Come Snack with me' event. This was organised by Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group specifically the Safeguarding Team!! - I was asked to join two more judges to find a snack that was prepared and cooked with people who have dementia in mind. Can they prepare it themselves? is it appetising - is it tasty - is it innovative/original etc... we judged 6 fantastic dishes [yum yum] Congratulations to Cheswardine Hall the Banofee pies were truly scrumptious. Great idea - nutrition - person centred activity - dignity ..... Well done to everyone and thank you for the opportunity.
