National Dignity Day 2014?
Hi All,
Can anyone tell me when National Dignity Day will take place in 2014? Will it be on the 1st February again?
As well as the continuous work we are undertaking in our local Dignity Sub Group we would like to raise the awareness of Dignity to the general public through an event/s.
Many Thanks in Advance
Claire
Hi Claire
My understanding is that it will be on 1st February, and that is the message I have been giving out to people...
Can someone confirm, please?
thanks also,
Ruth
Yep Ruth it is definitely 1st February - yes it is a Saturday we want the date to be the same year on year so that no-one has to ask when it is. The National Dignity Council are working on an idea that everyone can get involved with, so celebrate as you will - promote dignity as you will, but watch this space too.
Sorry Claire should have added your name too - how are you? good to hear from you. We are regularly posting on the Dignity in Action facebook page you might want to have a look at the latest. Take care Jan
Dear Jan
unfortunately, our Local Authority do not allow us to go on Facebook
whilst at work, so I don't get chance to look...I will have a look when I
get the opportunity on my home PC.
Kind regards, Ruth
