PINCH ME

I was recently asked a question via the [log in to view email address] address about the mnemonic PINCHME. this was something I hadn't heard of before but is actually used quite a lot in the care of those with a delirium type presentation it stands for - think- PINCH ME. Does the person have: Pain. INfection. Constipated. deHydrated. Medication. Environment. I found quite a lot of information about it eventually, and it was really useful. There is a powerpoint presentation that included lots of info which I found particularly helpful. This is from Mid Yorkshire Trust. Just thought I'd bring it to the attention of others.
