Privacy on a post natal maternity ward

Has anyone come up with ideas to improve privacy in an open ward environment? Our mothers have very limited privacy behind flimsy curtains. Very little is left to the imagination. Conversations with family or clinical staff can be heard by anyone who cares to listen.
