BrighterLife Care 06/08/11

Hello!!

I am excited to be announcing the launch of BrighterLIfeCare!

BrighterLifeCare is a Domiciliary Care Agency providing respite and short breaks for children and young adults with a range of disabilities. We enable users to access facilities and areas of the community in which they share interest, however may not be capable of doing so alone. At BrighterLifeCare we understand that parents and carers of people with disabilities need some quality respite time to themselves, possibly a bit of 'me time' or time to spend with other siblings or partners. BrighterLifeCare have a concious awareness of every person as an individual adhering to their individual needs and interests.

BrighterLifeCare will targets a broad customer target audience. Focusing upon the Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire area, we will discriminate against no form of disability. In order to maintain a ervice of a flexible nature, it is essential we consider situations of individuals striving to provide opportunities for everyone.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any further questions or enquiries you may have. I would love you hear from you

Daniel- I have a number of patients with Rett Disorder. The clinical " bible " is Rett Disorder and the Developing Brain, by Alison Kerr- one of the leadings researchers in the disorder. The book is very clinical. I find that Rett UK site is even more helpfull for day to day learning and best practice. Hit in the site- and take a look at e.g.- hit on Support- then Information, then Free Information Resources. That list is excellent. regards Dave Stewart

I understand that Retts is an ASD, I have 2 children with Aspergers Syndrome and possibly 10 grandchildren with possible Aspergers but certainly ASD's at some level - or as we joke in our family at least some colour, 3 of them are female.

ASD's are much misunderstood and there seems to be very little known about them.

MY wife has MS and they have a national charity organisation (the MS Society) that offers local help to local people, something that seems to be lacking with ASD's.
