Dignity Tree

At Marriott House the residents were involved in the designing the tree and during an art and craft afternoon the residents were helped to draw, paint and cut out all the different parts that were needed. Sarah and Jenny helped the residents to put it all together and display the tree in the dining room for everyone to see. We invited all staff, residents and visitors to write on a leaf what they though dignity means. This led to lots of discussion and we encouraged people to become dignity champions!
