We held a 'Pink to make you think' day. teas and refreshments were served, all cakes and biscuits were Pink. The ethos of the day was to refresh the staff on the issues around respecting the dignity of the people they care for, we had 'reality sessions', where the staff volunteered to wear glasses that altered their vision and they ate a sandwich or were fed and led into another room. All the people living at the home were offered a pink pompom to hang in their room as a reminder to staff, the event was supported by relatives
