SHERBORNE HOUSE TEA

Residents their families and staff enjoyed an afternoon tea party to promote dignity in care.

Residents made cakes which were enjoyed by all.

We also had a dignity tree where people were encouraged to hang a message about what dignity means to them,

some examples were- "ensuring a person maintains quality of life", "involving people to make their own choices" and "dignity is about respecting the person".

A married resident wrote on her's, how much she loves her husband.

A great afternoon promoting dignity within the care home!
