Weston NHS trust in Somerset celebrated national dignity day with a digni-tea event. Director of Nursing , Chris Perry spoke about the importance of treating patients with dignity at all times and helped us to celebrate the great work that staff at Weston hospital have championed.

The event was well attended by all disciplines of staff and also by members of our patient council.

Congratulations went to Belinda Cox and her Dynamic Dignity Group for facilitating a really successful day, with lots of information and resources for staff to take away and share.

A special mention went to Annette Berry who was one of the Trust's first Dignity Champions and who, sadly recently passed away. If Annette were here, she would have been proud to have been part of the Dignity Day at Weston Hospital.
