Recently @ Eliz Ct

It has been a very busy year for us so far at Elizabeth Court, as we have prepared and celebrated Mother's Day, Easter, St.George's Day and VE Day, after a successful Dignity Action Day back in February.

The 23rd April saw the Evergreens back at the home and everywhere was decorated in the St.George's flag. Relatives dressed in their red and white and everyone enjoyed the party.

On the 10th May, we decorated the home in red, white and blue and placed photographs all around the home of our service users who served in the Armed Forces. Posters of VE Day were also put around the home as a way of reminiscing about Victory in Europe. Relatives dressed up in 1940's costume and the Evergreens sang wartime songs. Everyone had a great and memorable day.

We try to celebrate all significant days at Elizabeth Court. All the team are devoted to always promoting Dignity and giving our service users a good quality of life.

Recently some of the staff climbed Mount Snowdon to ensure this keeps happening. It took 7 hours to go up and down the mountain, but it was a real team effort and staff, families and friends supported us all.

Thank you to everyone.
