Dignitea Afternoon

Today we held afternoon tea with cakes home cooked by staff and residents. We have the privilege of a visit from the local Mayor, Mayoress and Town Crier whom posed for many pictures with the residents and planted a tree in the garden. This tree is to be known as our 'Dignitree' and have been planted as a promise on behalf of the home to work in a way promotes dignity, privacy and respect to residents and staff, present and future. We also released some balloons in order to remember what dignity is about. It was a great afternoon enjoyed by all who attended.
