Redworth House

Redworth House, Shildon celebrated Dignity in Care Day with a Dig-in-nity afternoon.

Pat Cox our S.L.F. organised for our residents, staff and relatives to plant bulbs and sow seeds for the planned woodland and meadow area of our themed garden.

The rain stopped the activities outside so the conservatory became a greenhouse with even the Mayor of Shildon lending a hand. It was a great success with everyone concerned thoroughly enjoying the event (or was it the hot toddy served afterwards?). We are all looking forward to spring to see the fruits of our labours
