Memory House, Leigh-on-Sea

As most of our residents come from London we

thought they would enjoy a "Cockney Afternoon" for

"Dignity Awareness Day" on 25.2.10. We managed to

get a Pearly King and Queen to entertain them and

sent out personalised invitations to families to join

in the fun. It was a huge success and our residents

absolutely loved it. They sang and clapped to the

music, and some even danced! Our Staff even joined

in, and it became the talk of our home for days!
