Stapleton House, Jarrow

Celebrating Dignity in Care, for us at Stapleton House, has been great fun. The residents and staff here have been enjoying dog walking days and pamper afternoons. Alongside this we have organised a raffle to raise awareness, during a visit to the home the Mayor and Mayoress of South Tyneside, John and Chris Anglin, assisted us by drawing the winning tickets. We were honoured by their visit and delighted when they looked around the home and met the residents, staff and students. We were all especially pleased when the Mayor offered us an open invitation to the Town Hall for a guided tour and tea. The visit was covered by the Shields
