Huntingdon Court
Here at Huntingdon Court, to promote National Dignity Day, we decided to hold a ‘Digni-Tea’. The event was displayed throughout the home, inviting residents, families, friends and staff to come along and to complete a leaf with their idea of what dignity means to them, adding it to our dignity tree.
Residents enjoyed making cupcakes for the event in the dining room and took pride in attaching their leaf to our dignity tree.
We had vibrationally balanced music based workshop with Beverly.
Residents all enjoyed each having their own percussion musical instruments to play.
The event took place at 4 pm, where the Dignity Champions were given the opportunity to talk about what dignity meant to them in care environment
Everyone then enjoyed a buffet tea and all had a slice of our Dignity cake
Residents appreciated listening to Elvis Presley music and took pleasure in having a dance with staff.
