St Joseph's Stafford

We had a display in the hall from the 1st of February to the 28th. People were invited to write comments on hearts and hang them on the tree saying what 'dignity' meant to them. We also had poems and other information on display. Staff were given the opportunity to become 'dignity champions' and the take up was amazing, we have had 21 staff take up the opportunity. This means our nursing home will have at least one champion on every shift. On 22nd February we held a 'digni-tea' for residents and their relatives and friends, who shared their thoughts with us. Some of the staff were also presented with their badges, cards and certificates. Of course there was also loads of tea and coffee and fresh cream cakes!!
