Making dreams & wishes come true

Sometimes 'feel good things' are worth sharing. At Pelham House we have the philosophy that personal centred care is vital in making people happy and we try really hard to bring a little personal kind of joy into everyone life. Too meet this need we have set about making dreams/wishes come true, even if the pleasure only last a day, hopefully the memories will last way longer.

Yesterday we took a dear man along with a group of friends from the home to The Greatest Show at the Leas Cliff Hall. Peter spent the entire 2 hours of the show bobbing to the music and clapping profusely at the appropriate times.

Then with thanks to the staff and cast, Peter ‘s wish of being part of theatre and comedy came true when two young stars came down from the stage and presented him with a T-shirt and Top Hat. His smiles and joy were wonderful and lasted well into the evening.
