An activity to show we care

Unfortunately we could not have a special day on the first of February . Although we now have not just a dignity tree but our residents asked if they could use it as a wishing tree

. Today we had a local school come back to sing for everyone in the home.All who attended loved the singing and the children themselves . Unfortunately the one person who made this wish passed away last week. The afternoon still went ahead and he was with us in spirit and was singing to the songs of the shows . So this was just a wish come true and all of the staff are working hard to make more wishes come true . The afternoon was full of fun laughter and of course dignity through all ages 6 to 96 so although today was not a planned dignity action day . I feel t hat a day of songs laughter and fun and if course a great time had by all is the best time to show dignity . I am sorry I cannot post photos as the school does not allow them
