SCIE's Chief Executive Andrea Sutcliffe said:

"SCIE fully supports Dignity Action Day. This is a great opportunity for all care staff to focus on how we make sure dignity and respect are at the heart of everything we do. I am proud that SCIE hosts the Dignity in Care campaign supporting the work of dignity champions and raising awareness of dignity in care. More importantly, I look forward to when we no longer need to have a special day for dignity because it is routinely provided by all our skilled and well-managed workforce. People using services and their families can then be confident that they will always be treated with respect - as we would want to be treated ourselves."
