Edgehill Care home

Here at Edgehill care home we enjoyed a full day of entertainment. We held a coffee morning where residents and their families could chat to others and meet new friends.During this time we looked at pictures of Swindon from many years ago. A few of our female residents actually worked in some of the shops shown in the pictures. This was a great opportunity for them to remember their younger years and share with us memories of their working lives and how the shops have changed over the years.

The day didnt end there, we had a good old sing a long with lyrics on screen.in the afternoon. They visit the home each month to entertain us all, it is a time when we can all sing a long to songs of years gone by. We ended the day with a high tea and a sherry or two !!
