Coffee morning

Jane Palmer Day Hospital, Jarrow arranged a coffee morning and support session on 25 and 26 February. People who attended were patients experiencing dementia, and their carers/relatives received advice and support to help maintain their caring role(s) and their own health. On 24 February a Dignity in Care information session was presented to patients experiencing functional mental illness and attending day hospital for assessment and treatment.

Comments included: -

1: On behalf of my mother (and myself) I can honestly say we have been delighted with the help and dignity shown towards us. Well done to all staff.

2: I have attended Dignity in Action Coffee Morning and Support session, and have received support and advice in relation to my caring role and my husband's diagnosis

3: An informative session towards caring in our society for less fortunate people than ourselves.
