Kiln Court

Kiln Court is a Kent County Council Registered Care Centre for Older People. We hosted a series of events on Dignity in Action Day.

A Nintendo Wii was purchased and on Dignity in Action Day the primary school children from Bsing Wood School came along to Kiln Court to demonstrate the Wii, and perfect demonstrators they were too! The event really brought the two generations together and the children really interacted with the residents of Kiln Court and the Residents reponded well to their instruction. The Faversham Times visited and later published a story with photographs in the paper.

Beauty Treatments were offered to all residents including Manicures and Pedicures.

In the afternoon we had an entertainer visit who provided music, taking requests from our residents.

An afternoon buffet followed which was enjoyed by all.

The event has raised the awareness of Dignity in Care and we now incorporate Dignity in Care into everything we do on a daily basis.
